“Field Trip Day” = a very WET outing. SO FUN, nonetheless.  It was pouring and cold, and the 3 little boys in the whole preschool class [out of 17] were entirely in their element. Canyon brought home 2 small pumpkins and a coloring book. We were minus the apple because he ate the entire HUGE thing while we were there. I think he was trying to show up his new friend Roan.

Sage did come too. She was in the hiking pack the whole time and just sang and talked to everyone! What a little trooper.

All this to say I had 2 kids with high spirits yesterday, despite the rain and cold.  Good thing, because they live in the good ol’ NW!

Uhhhh…9 weeks until baby numero tres arrives. To be honest, even with as LARGE as I feel, this is coming a bit too fast. So many things to do and so many things still needed to buy and get done.  Good thing we’ve done this whole ‘baby thing’ before. Oh baby!

Canyon: “How did sister get in your belly?”

Me: “God put her there.”

Canyon: “How?”

Me: “God made her and put her in my belly.”

Canyon: “God made her like with his hands?”

Me: “Yeah, kind of like that.”

Canyon: “Did he sew her together with his hands?”

Me: “Something like that…”

Canyon: “Oh…Your belly is big Mom.”

Me: “Thanks Canyon.”

Canyon: “Yeah.”

This kid cracks me up…daily.

Sagers is 1!! I can hardly believe it. This year has FLOWN by! Even with life just blowing through—I couldn’t have imagined this past year without our baby girl.

Love the number 5! It’s my number! Always has been. And this year Brad and I are celebrating our 5th Anniversary on July 24th! Time has flown. With all our little and BIG adventures [BIG, especially being attempting to raise our kids], I wouldn’t want to go through them with anyone other than B!

Yep! Baby numero 3 is a girly! I/we were a bit surprised because for whatever reason I felt in my brain we were having boy. Not the case, a little girl to join Sage so those 2 can gang up big bro Canyon.  So, more pink [not really] for the Scandretts!! Woohoo!!
