lil’ finds

I love, what I call “great little finds.”  These two lemon glasses were my little find at the local Goodwill today. Total: $1.38. I was hoping to find a couple more, but two was all that was there. This is in turn, what make our little casa a bit eclectic. A little of this, a couple of that. But to be honest, I like it that way….as long as there is a flow . The photo doesn’t do quite enough justice on how slender and true mid-century these glasses are. They are not very big. Only about 5″ tall with a diameter of about 1 1/2″. I “heart” them.

what if…?

Kids are asleep. It’s quiet. I’m thinking…

My thought tonight: “What if we all just showed a little more grace…?”

The thought warms me and I smile. Now the question is turning into tune. I’m singing [in my head].

 

faith…

I worry. I do. In the past couple years, I have been making a great effort to overcome this. Not alone, of course. Worry, when it really comes down to it, is ultimately a lack of FAITH.  Faith that HE will take care of me. That my TRUST is to be in HIM. How freeing it is, to know the true peace. Now I just need to truly live in it!
